Trilogy Energy Trust (the Trust) is a Canadian energy trust focused on petroleum and natural gas. The Trust is managed by Trilogy Energy Ltd., the administrator of the Trust. Its major properties include Kaybob and Grande Prairies. The primary zones of interest in the Kaybob property are the Spirit River, Bluesky, Gething and Montney Formations. During the year ended December 31, 2007, the Company acquired Redsky Energy Ltd., a private company operating in the Grande Prairie area of Alberta. The Redsky assets were a grassroots development by Redsky through drilling on farm-in opportunities and land acquired at Crown land sales. On October 26, 2006, it acquired Blue Mountain Energy Ltd. The Blue Mountain assets in the Grande Prairie and Drayton Valley areas of Alberta added approximately 600 barrels of oil equivalent per day (Boe/d) of production at the time of the acquisition and approximately 3,000 million barrels of oil equivalent (MBoe) of proved plus probable reserves.(Source: ARS)
