Welton Energy Corporation (Welton) is a junior energy company, focused on exploration for and development and production of oil and natural gas in Saskatchewan, British Columbia and Alberta, Canada. The Company owns and operates a range of project types across several core areas in Alberta and Saskatchewan, including natural gas, resource-play natural gas, heavy oil and long-life, light/medium gravity oil projects, often with multi-zone potential. The Mantario East heavy oil pool is located in west central Saskatchewan. Welton has working interests varying from 12.5% to 100% in a total of 28 oil and four gas wells with 2,393 net acres (9,653 gross acres). The main producing zone is the Rex Sandstone at a depth of approximately 900 meters. Welton has a 100% working interest in 14,089 acres at Eatonia/Dankin project.
