I check field measurements for the architects and designers. I attended meetings with architects, designers, engineers, suppliers and clients where I confirmed client changes. I acquired construction documents necessary for the Department of Buildings approval and for construction; documents drawn in scale to building code specifications, signed and sealed by registered architects and coordinated with licensed engineers. I was responsible for the verification of all insurance, licensing and bonding for all contractors and sub-contractors on the project.
The most important component of construction is the implementation of final working drawings for actual construction. I am experienced in maintaining a scheduling time line, making on site decisions, checking the work quality of sub contractors, and insuring the quality of building products. I schedule site visits with clients, architects, designers, as well as future clients. I maintain a constant log of change orders, notes, faxes, email correspondence and meeting minutes, in respect to keeping every one informed. The construction at times was phased, so the clients remained operational during renovation.
