Seeking challenging position where I can use my proactive approach to worker safety. Currently, I hold several certifications with ten years in Construction Safety and a lifetime in Industrial Construction. Some of the methods that I use to obtain my goals include but are not limited to:
• Policy administration, program design/implementation, and regulatory compliance.
• Regular and frequent safety inspections of the job site in cooperation with contractor/client superintendents and safety representatives. Documented inspections and appropriate follow-up to assure correction.
• Publish and monitor weekly safety meetings for craft personnel.
• Coordinate emergency care, warning, and evacuation systems.
• Maintain the injury/illness record system, including preparation of necessary reports, investigation of accidents/incidents with prompt notification of construction management, if warranted. The accident record system includes OSHA 300, OSHA 300a, OSHA 301, or an acceptable substitute, worker’s compensation records, and all accident/incident reports.
• Organize and perform weekly inspection of the job site with line management representatives.
• Prepare orientations, answer any questions raised by those attending the training sessions, and administer testing to determine retention of the information presented in order to acquaint new employees with work site hazards, safe work procedures, and expected behavior.
• Establish, publicize, and report at scheduling and progress meetings the classifications of any injuries occurring on site and work practices that need to be revised to achieve the desired safety and health performance.
• Provide safety coordination, leadership, and advice to line management/contractors and organize training programs as requested.

I am very outgoing and feel Safety personnel must spend the majority of their time in the field and not in the office. I would welcome a personal interview in order to be fair to us both.
