Various accomplishments indicating proficiency and versatility during my career:
• Projects under my direction have never received an OSHA citation with fines from any of the many inspections performed, including managing the construction of a full venue Retail Mall project that received three unscheduled OSHA visits during construction. The cost savings is immeasurable.
• Quality assurance is a top priority with me. One owner’s representative for a D/B project wrote “The punchlist he prepared for substantial completion was impeccable.†Of the last four projects I’ve completed there have only been four warranty item calls. This easily equates to tens of thousands of dollars saved.
• While managing two large projects I led the development of a Commissioning program for Building Power and Lighting, Emergency Generators, Lightning Protection and Transient Voltage Surge Protection, and facilitated the training of thirty-five employees (note: my background is not electrical).
• I was able to implement changes to an employer’s (smaller firm) sub-contracting methods, reducing risk and exposure to losses in excess of two hundred thousand dollars in a twelve month period.
• Regularly assigned to company projects in jeopardy (initially managed by others) to reverse the potential failure and execute a recovery resulting in successful projects delivered on time, and developing a profit when it had already been deemed a loss.
