For One of the Largest Multifamily Developers Out of Atlanta, Georgia, I Was the Construction Manager of the Most Exquisite 192 Unit, Garden Apartment Complex that Had Been Built in Brevard County, Florida. I Assembled a Team to Build This Project Under Budget and Beat the Aggressive Schedule That Called for Completion and Acceptance of All 11 Buildings, a Community Building and Pool Complex in 12 Months.
ONE HARBOR PLACE, Melbourne, Florida 1985 – 1986
Project Manager
For Paul Mark, a West Palm Beach Owner/Developer, I Constructed the Largest Building in Downtown Melbourne, an Eight Story, 70,000 sq. ft. Office Building. This Glass Curtain-Walled, Concrete Structure Was a Zero Lot Line Project, Bordered on Three Sides by Busy Thoroughfares and on the Forth Side by an Existing Development. Procurement of Materials (like marble from Mexico) and Subcontractors (like PPG’s Curtain Wall Division out of Pennsylvania) Required Resourcing, Both in and Out of State. In Less Than 12 Months the Building Was Ready for Tenant Leasing and Construction Costs Were 3% Under the $3.5 Million Budget.
