Experience
1997 – 2008 Land Acquisition and Development for Pacific Lifestyle Homes
Managed all land acquisition and development for Pacific Lifestyle Homes as it grew from a builder of 35 homes per year in 1998 to 320 in 2005. Began as a one man show and by 2007 as VP of Acquisition and Development I had a staff of 13 including responsibility for Corporate PR, Corporate Counsel, and all HOA activities. In the 11 years we acquired, entitled and sold, or constructed over 2500 lots in more than 30 projects giving Pacific Lifestyle the inventory it needed to fuel its double digit growth in home sales. We minimized risk through long term contract options and focused on maximizing the value (the difference between the cost and the revenue) that could be achieved in a project. With 5 of the 13 A&D staff, we developed an efficient and very effective method to grow an ever increasing inventory of contracts with underlying landowners.
1995 – 1997 Retail Real Estate Agent Among typical home and rural acreage sales, sold a 17 lot finished subdivision and a 73 lot Preliminary approved subdivision.
1973 – 1994 Sales, Sales Management, and Customer Service Management for a series of companies that provided computerized accounting services, computer hardware with business accounting, and networked PC’s with customer service software.
