This letter is to introduce myself. My name is Todd Cliggott and I am looking for a management position within the field of construction. I have been in construction on and off after high school and through college, then in 1991 decided to make it my career. Previously I have worked on both production homes and on custom built homes. Most recently I have had the opportunity to work on Multi-Family construction. I have the expertise and know how to build quality homes with a goal of zero defects. My education comes from some schooling but mainly through life experiences and through the drive to achieve more. Based on my knowledge and skills, I am confident that I would be a great addition to your team.
I have learned that communication is the best asset for any manager. Whether it is negative or positive, it’s all about getting the most out your employees or contractors. All the while making them feel important and proud of their positions within the company. Cost has always been a major issue for builders. Both large and small builders have a margin of profit. It is through consistent take-offs, consistent schedules and communication that extra costs can be avoided.
My resume highlights my ability to manage is enclosed for you viewing. Since building homes in the Northwest I have had the opportunity to build with production companies as well as custom home builders.
I am excited any opportunity you might have and the ability to help your company succeed. Thank you in advance for your time. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. I would appreciate the opportunity to review my qualifications in more detail and will contact you over the next few days.
