Professional Experience
 Construction Superintendent 2008 – 2008 Rafferty Construction, Franklin, Indiana
Traveling Site Superintendent with a mid-sized commercial construction management company supervising and managing the daily construction process of Jimmy John’s Restaurants, starting and completing five (5) stores throughout the United States. My duties entailed but were not limited to, verifying blueprints for accuracy and taking corrective measures if needed, scheduling of all subcontractors/vendors, procurement of all required building permits, daily progress reports, daily trade’s checklists to maintain the company’s expectations of a consistent and quality product, daily pictures, daily supervisor’s log, adherence to all ADA and OHSA regulations, scheduling and insuring the compliance of all local inspections, verifying quantities of materials/equipment and delivery dates, completion of project within the time allotted and meeting or staying below budget. All of the above projects were complete build-outs from below slab utilities, total demo/shell only and then turn-key in 35 days or less with an average value of 250K.
 Independent Contractor 2008 – 2008 DCB Construction, Mentor, Ohio
Contractor in finish carpentry focusing on short-term projects as I interviewed with commercial construction companies for a position as a Superintendent.
 Lead Supervisor/ Training Superintendent 2006 - 2008 Kline Construction, Mentor, Ohio
Traveling Construction Supervisor with a mid-sized commercial construction company specializing in the new construction, build-outs or remodeling of veterinary hospitals and clinics that required travel throughout the United States. Responsibilities as a working supervisor were; blueprint verification, building permits, supervising in-house employees, taking a pro-active role in solving problems to eliminate possible project delays or cost over-runs, compliance of all regulations (local, ADA and OHSA), aggressive scheduling of sub-contractors to insure proper flow and progression of all phases which resulted in completed projects at or ahead of schedule, within budget and without sacrificing the quality of workmanship. Projects ranged from 2 to 6 months with values of 500K to 3M.
 Construction Superintendent 2004 - 2006 TMR Construction, Painesville, Ohio
Superintendent responsible for self-performed tasks as well as the supervision of all sub-contractors on commercial, medical and residential new construction and build-outs. Managed entire projects from; inception, blue prints, estimating, contract preparation, hiring of licensed sub-contractors, building permits, daily logs, weekly progress reports, budget update reports, scheduling and compliance of all inspections, ADA and OSHA compliance and the successful completion of projects ahead of schedule and below budget. Projects ranged from 1 to 4 months with values of 150K to 300K.
 Construction Foreman 2002 - 2004 Grant Construction, Mentor, Ohio
Site Foreman responsible for self-performed rough to trim carpentry plus the supervision of sub-contractors in all phases of commercial, medical and residential construction and build-out projects. Assisted in design, estimating, contract preparation, scheduling, full compliance and execution of all local, State and Federal codes and insured the successful completion of quality projects ahead of schedule. Projects ranged from 1 to 3 months.
