I was the project manager in charge of on-site construction of new and existing quarry and plant equipment for nineteen quarries in two states. I planned, estimated, organized, executed and controlled a project from initial authorization through engineering, procurement, planning, and implementation, close out and project critique. I planned, scheduled and acquired sub contractors, managed staffing, ordered materials and deliveries, managed payments and budgets for projects ranging from 100k to multi- million dollar jobs I was the sole salaried representative of the company on site and manning a crew of 10 direct reports and subcontracting crews of up to thirty people. I worked closely with the project team including all departments involved in the project from engineering, HR, quality control and accounting/business. Superintendent in charge of installing three Kewanee, 150 horsepower, and coal fired boilers with all associated equipment which included fans, duct, fuel delivery installation and steam delivery for the Virginia Department of Corrections.
