Enclosed please find my resume as an application for a position as Field Superintendent, or Assistant Field Superintendent as your needs may apply. I am willing to travel and or relocate for the right opportunity.
Today’s construction industry is increasingly under pressure to produce more for less. Compressed scheduling, tight budgets, and increasing costs have created the need to examine, analyze, and continually improve the construction process.
The need for Trained Supervision has become an important consideration in achieving those objectives.
Organization, Communication, and Planning are critical elements, that when implemented properly, will result in increased quality, safety, productivity, customer satisfaction and profitability.
Proper implementation requires a proactive approach and the realization that technology and methods are powerful tools but constantly changing. Embracing new ideas through team building and process evaluation creates a positive work flow.
I have been involved in the construction industry for the past 18 years and have acquired these skills through working relationships, mentors, and most recently Formal Training.
The commitment to my career includes the use of ongoing education to realize my goal of ultimately moving into project management.
I would like to thank you in advance for your time and consideration and look forward to the opportunity to become part of your team.
Sincerely,
Jack Markland
