EXPERIENCE
Balfour Beatty/Centex Construction, 2005-2008
• Site Superintendent of the Walter Reed project in Wheaton, Maryland.
This was a total demo/rebuild with the relocation of all utilities (gas, elect.,
sewer and water). The unit mix was 6 townhouses, consisting of 8 units each with UFAS units at each end and 16 buildings with 12- unit, garden-style apartment buildings.
• Site Superintendent of the Ft. Dietrich project in Frederick, Maryland.
This was all new construction of military housing starting with grubbing and
clearing, with all new site utilities being installed and the construction of 50 quad-plex buildings and 5 UFAS buildings.
• Lead Superintendent on Picatinny Arsenal site in Picatinny, New Jersey.
This was a complicated project due to the use of modular homes. The modular system was utilized due to high sub-contractor wages in New Jersey. The whole job was designed and built to BBC spec., and shipped to our site. It was then my responsibility to assure that all site work was complete in a timely manner. This included, but not limited too, making sure superior wall systems were in place, on grade and were square.
Harkins Builders, 2003-2005
• Site superintendent of The Gateway Crossing Project in Hagerstown, MD.
This was a HUD demo and rebuild of a low income housing project first built in the 1950’s. As the site superintendent it was my responsibility to supervise as many as 200 workers, ranging from carpenters to MEP’s. We built an eclectic mix of units that reflected the style of the neighborhood, replicating the architecture of the windows and exterior trim.
