Previous Job duties/tasks
• Ground up experience with building a company to the largest non union carpentry contractor in the Twin Cities 13 county metro.
• Responsible for highest company sales of over 3,500,000.00 annually
• Responsible for assuming a major account from another Project Manager that was failing and increasing GM from 15% to 35% in one year’s time.
• Managed and trained in excess of 60 employees, including Assistant Project Managers, Foreman, Lead Foreman, Carpenters, and Carpenter Helpers. Training involved efficiencies, Safety, Quality and all other daily tasks as well as generalized company specifics.
• Managed up to 14 Homebuilders and as many as 20 different field crews daily to ensure schedules are met, policies are followed, and all HR issues are addressed.
• Conducted annual reviews for all employees under my direction. This would be determined by data compiled over the course of the year by various spreadsheets and tracking programs used to tally safety, attendance, production and quality as well as overall employment. All increases were determined by me and approved by the company President.
• New hire probationary reviews (30, 60, 90 day reviews) were completed by me to ensure new hires were a good fit and at the appropriate level of pay and skill for where they were placed.
• Delivered monthly tool box talks to all crews on company changes or updates as well as refreshers for safety.
• Delivered quarterly boardroom style foreman meetings with PowerPoint graphs and charts to keep foremen abreast of how they are performing and how the company looks financially, as well as future contracts and projects and Builder outlook.
• Worked extensively with the CAD department to develop a branch of the company called FRAME-IT. FRAME-IT is a collaboration of framing labor (CCC), lumber (Lyman Lumber), truss design (ABC Truss) and various mechanical trades for whole house design. We have designed and field tested a library of homes for national builder Ryland homes that consists of floor, roof and wall drawings that coincide with the panelized wall panels built by CCC ensuring all layouts are the same every time and creating a greener product with less waste and less errors.

Personal Interests
I have been married for 18 years and have three children, Jake, Mason, and Sierra.
Jake is a junior at Elk River High and is a great student with aspirations of playing Division I Basketball.
Mason is a freshman at Elk River High and is also a basketball player as well as track. Sierra is in 7th grade and is involved in volleyball, but her true love is dance, where she currently dances Ballet, hip hop, and Jazz.
My wife, Sherry is a special education teacher at school district 916 specializing in Autism.
I have been actively coaching traveling basketball as well as summer AAU teams for both of my sons’ teams for the last 7 years, winning the state 7B title in 2005-06.
With my active family life we are always running, but when we have time we enjoy
Escaping to Garrison where we have our cabin. We enjoy riding four wheelers as well
as swimming, fishing, and boating.
