Journeyman construction professional in search of next challenge. Primary background in sitework and heavy construction with experience gathered in all areas of general construction. Although I am able to wear many hats in the office or field, estimating, project management, and business development are my areas of maximum service.
As project purchaser, I would jokingly refer to my position as “Vice President of Weirdâ€. My specialty in sourcing the everyday to esoteric items most competitively, capturing more contracts. Whether it is general materials, an obscure mechanical device, or finding a specialty blacksmith to produce an item to match 19th century appearance in historical rehabilitation.
I deliver.
My career began in civil engineering. This demands conceptualizing an idea and developing it accurately in all detail and function. Besides these requirements, resolution of conflicts and integration of the work within the final product are required. This additionally distinguishes me as one who can value engineer, problem solve, and otherwise add value to your contract. I deliver.
In cost estimation, one identifies the scope of the project and the materials, time, and resources needed to complete it. The required logistics, production, deadlines, and other risk factors are analyzed and factored into the construction costs. Once established, a proposal assuring the most value to the owner balanced with maximum profits for my employer can be assembled.
I deliver
Project management training taught effective management of the labor, materials and equipment within the required parameters of quality, cost, and time to complete. My insight in recognizing potential problems and opportunities are a priority in maximizing project profitability. I accomplish this by expert planning, controlling, executing, and monitoring of all the work details.
I deliver.
Excellent communication skills, in the direction of field operations or making documentation of work are vital. I am very well schooled in working with anyone from the design professionals, owner representatives, or craftsman from having been one of them. With these technical skills, keen leadership, and interpersonal skills, I provide effective and profitable bottom line results.
I deliver.
Indeed, these qualities needed for success in the construction industry are highly valued in many other businesses. I bring a vast amount of construction and general business experience to the table. I enjoy my work and integrate well within all organizations. I am sure you will find me to be an excellent addition towards your company’s success.
Yours in Service
Ron Zucker
