PRESENT ASSIGNMENT
Flintco – Construction Services – Albuquerque Public Schools, June 2008 to Present
Assignment:
I was retained as Senior Project Manager to complete two elementary Schools on the west mesa overlooking the Rio Grande River for Albuquerque Public Schools. These schools have complex architectural designs with advanced MEP systems sited on basalt rock beyond the jurisdiction of the public utilities. The building supply logistics are difficult with most building materials and fixtures coming from adjoining states. The subcontractor pool is limited to the Santa Fe and Albuquerque metro areas. I have succeeded in correcting these challenges and am presently bringing the schools in on time for occupancy for Sunset View Elementary by March 2nd and the second, (presently, un-named) by the end of March..

Palm Beach - I was recruited from the Hernando County School District to serve the sixteen-school modernization and replacement program for existing schools along the I-95 corridor for the School District of Palm Beach County. Because of my previous experience with the Florida DOE, I was assigned to program and budget the first ten schools in the package. I helped to create and the “Project Definition†method saving the district money by reducing the program’s square footage for each school. I was later assigned four of the elementary schools and was responsible for architect/contractor selections for design and construction. I saved time and money by using one architect and one CM to do all four. The district later assigned six additional schools where I was again involved with project definition and later assigned one additional elementary school for design and construction.
Orlando & Tampa Bay – I was assigned the Pinnacle Tower of Tampa Bay. While waiting for financing I was assigned to the Pinellas County Transit Authority, Hiawassee Elementary & Florida A&M University College of Law in Orlando. Later I was sent back to Palm Beach as the Joint Venture Project Manager for the International Airport - Concourses A & B where I was involved with pre-con, scopes-of work, GMP, project buy-out and full charge of construction, finishing 45 days ahead of schedule while working through 2004 hurricanes Charlie, Elaine, Jeanne and Ivan.

During my tenure I was instrumental in the planning, design and construction of a ten year $132 million dollar program for new schools. Completed a separate program for $15 million in PK-12 remodeling and another program for $12.5 million for new ancillary facilities. Due to the small size of this school district I was involved not only with the planning but the day-to-day construction activities as well.
