Work experience Began the trade working for a company that designed and installed production
and high speed packaging machine controls. Continued working in the trade
doing commercial and industrial installations for various contractors in the
Chicagoland area. Joined I.B.E.W. local union 150 in Lake County, Illinois
in December 1992. Worked in the local as a JW and started my own company.
Operated Lake County Electric Co. Inc. as President and Supervising Electrician until 2001. I’m still a licensed commercial and industrial electrician in Illinois. During this time, I have worked for many contractors performing a wide variety of tasks on large scale jobs with as many as 600 men on them. I have continued to educate myself to new technologies, and procedures in the industry through the J.A.T.C. At present, I am on Temporary Deployment in Kansas City, MO at the Iatan II Generating Station Project for Kansas City Power & Light.
` Summary of qualifications I have worked in power plants as large as 2000 MW during outages, and new construction. I also have worked on large scale retail and industrial projects as a JW, Foreman, and General Foreman. I am qualified and have worked on 16.9KV circuits and equipment. I am familiar with estimating software, material take offs, labor units and man hours. I am computer literate and good at Internet Research, Microsoft Word and Excel.

In charge of Turbine Building Medium and Low Voltage Switchgear installation, wiring and startup. Also installed and wired Ovation DCS control cabinets and an 1800 KW Emergency Backup Generator. Ran 3 crews with as many as 35 Electricians.
