Summary of Qualifications:
• Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
• Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.
• Schedule the project in logical steps, budget time required to meet deadlines and update project schedule.
• Construct and implement owner training schedules.
• Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients, representing the owner or developer.
• Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Direct and supervise workers to include weekly coordination meetings and special evolution meetings.
• Develop SOV, review and approve billing applications, review and approve change orders.
• Implement and maintain documentation and document controls to include the following:
o File maintenance
o Drawings and sketches
o Submittals
o Material tracking
o RFI’s
o Change orders and subcontracts
o Contractor and vendor evaluations
o Personnel evaluations and training
o Job Setup and Job Closeout
• Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
• Prepare and submit budget estimates and progress and cost tracking reports.
• Develop and implement quality control programs.
• Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site.
• Familiar with the following tools and technology:
o Notebook computers, PDAs or organizers and Scanners
o Accounting software
o Calendar and scheduling software (Primavera and MS Project)
o Document management software
o Internet browser software
o Office suite software, Spreadsheet software, Word processing software
o Adobe Professional
o AutoCAD
o OST Software
o RS Means/Gradebeam
• Training including the following:
o Bachelors Degree Mechanical Engineering – Southern Illinois University – 2003
o Class work towards MBA – Western Illinois University, Moline Illinois.
o 30 Hour OSHA – 2007
o Advanced Negotiating Skills for PM – 2006
o Basic Negotiating Skills for PM – 2005
• Craft experience includes the following:
o Mason tending
o Asbestos abatement
o Concrete flatwork
o Gas pipeline work
o Refractory work
o Nuclear Power Plant work
