ô€€¹ Development of subcontractor scope of work, inviting and reviewing proposals and negotiating costs with
the subcontractors.

717 million dollar project which features a 65,000 sq. ft glass atrium, 2000-room 20-story hotel with luxury spa and
fitness center, sports bar, coffee shop and nightclub atop the hotel tower. This was a very unique, complex and a
challenging job where in the duties performed were ranging from that of an engineer to a project manager.
ô€€¹ In-charge of structural steel for the atrium. Planned the logistics and managed the fabrication and erection
of 12, 42†round pipe steel trusses 220’ long, weighing 150,000 pounds each.
ô€€¹ In-charge of the atrium skylight subcontractor. Atrium roof consisting of approx. 1700 glass panels and 2
glass walls consisting of more than 1200 glass panels each weighing 500 pounds.
ô€€¹ In-charge of the subcontractor installing atrium glass & steel maintenance system along with the elevators
& escalators for the hotel.
ô€€¹ Also involved with managing the door, hardware and drywall package.
ô€€¹ Solely responsible for resolving the structural Non Compliance issues.

This is a 6 billion dollar project featuring 4 residential condo high rises, 6000 room hotel, casino, theaters,
ballrooms, different kinds of restaurants & shops and many more.
ô€€¹ Currently working on a 36 story high rise as a lead structural engineer.
ô€€¹ In-charge of resolving the non compliance structural & quality control issues.
ô€€¹ In-charge of a design built support system for the podium curtain wall.
􀀹 In-charge of some of the podium feature items like the 120’ high glass wall, mesh wall and art wall.
ô€€¹ Also responsible for the miscellaneous steel package.
Jan 05 – Jan 07 Struever Bros. Eccles & Rouse, Inc. MD, USA.
As a project engineer job responsibilities in general include planning, estimating, scheduling, progress reporting, material
& equipment management, surveying, quantity tracking and field operations supervision. It also includes management and
coordination of physical construction associated with the different subcontractors on a construction project. Brief
description of responsibilities while working on these projects:
􀂃 Jan 05 – Jan 06 Newton-Lee Elementary School, Ashburn, VA
Working as a project engineer was involved with:
ô€€¹ Establishing and maintaining project schedule using PRIMAVER P3.
ô€€¹ Reviewing & coordinating submittals & shop drawings.
􀀹 Used Expedition for writing RFI’s, RFP’s, NTP’s, PCO’s & Change Orders.
ô€€¹ Also worked on project close-out procedures like the OEM manuals & the as-built Drawings.
ô€€¹ Worked onsite with the project superintendent while coordinating and managing the different
subcontractors and their ongoing activities.
ô€€¹ Worked on getting all the required inspections and the paper work to turn over the school to the owner
and completed the punch-list.

Working as an Intern duties included construction inspection on a variety of projects, reviewing drawings and
specifications, preparation of engineering field reports, conducting and reviewing the laboratory test results and various
geotechnical engineering related tasks. Solely responsible for managing four different projects at the same time and also
acted as a medium between client and contractor.
Dec 98 – Dec 99 Ravi Group of Companies, Mumbai, India.
Worked as a trainee engineer and obtained in depth understanding of on-site activities involved with the construction of
building and oversaw construction of five buildings from excavation stage to hand-over phase. Also acquainted with all
duties from commencement through to completion like practices of tendering, working drawings, estimation of quantities &
ordering of materials, participating in design meetings & billing procedure and preparing progress reports in addition to the
on-site construction activities.
PROJECT WORK
􀂃 Completed a project entitled “Sewage Collection, Treatment & Disposal at Versova, Mumbai†under
Municipal Corporation of Greater Bombay. It involved the study of collection & treatment of sewage generated in
the city of Mumbai & a case study of the sewage pumping station & treatment plant at Versova, Mumbai.

the analysis & comparisons of the various chemicals used in the construction industry according to company wise
