Atlantic Station II- 30 million - Parking Garage. Atlanta, Ga. R. J. Griffin & Co. Project Superintendent managed 30 million dollar Garage and Finishes. The Atlantic Parking Structure was an 800.000 sq ft parking garage, 4 sub-levels, 4 above ground with a 5th floor roof. It had 5 elevator pits and a loading dock. I managed the entire garage from blasting and Excavation to top out. All M.E.P. Including Fire Pump Room, and Fire Control Room, and all finishes Interior and Skin.
Horizon Project 50 million Atlanta, Ga. R.J. Griffin & Co. Project Superintendent.
Horizon was an 18 story cast in place concrete with a 19th floor roof and an elevator machine room. Also a structural steel component on top that formed the two eyebrows. I managed 3 sub-levels of garage then 4 above. + finishes. I managed all the Structure and steel till top out, and then built swimming pool and spa and a large water feature. On 5th level, and all finishes of the Amenity deck. Including cultured stone and natural stone .All hardscape, including stamped concrete and colored on 5th level and lobby. Also all M.E.P trade’s that were part of my scope. I managed two cranes, and all jumps, and the Buck hoists. I also assisted with managing the elevator sub-contractor. Punched 0ut the Garage and Amenity Deck for T.C.O. then final C.O. on schedule.
Viridian Project - 55 million. Nashville, Tenn. R. J. Griffin & Co. Project Superintendent; Viridian was a 31 story cast in place structure, with 9 stories parking garage and 22 floors Residential Condominiums. I managed the structure from initial excavation till top-out. The Amenity Deck and swimming pool on 30.5 floors. The 9 story Garage and Finishes. I controlled the crane jumps and the crane tie-in to the building + buck hoist. I also was responsible for controlling all logistics and delivery schedules. I also managed all life-safety and managed the elevator Sub-contractor.
Construction Supervisor 4/03/02 to 8/15/03
Brasfield & Gorrie G.C. Round-a bout building music square 54 million
Round –a bout was an 18 level cast in place with a 7 story parking garage attached. Managed, with General Superintendent. Entire garage and all M.E.P and Finishes in that scope. Had two elevator pits and two air shafts. Pre-cast skin. I managed all field staff and engineers helped build and maintain schedule and budget. Managed and checked all imbeds lay-out for skin and all other applications. I Managed all subs in my scope including Interior Build-Out. I then worked punch-list for final C.O.
Project Superintendent-Estimator 2/12/2000 to 3/20/02
True-built- construction. 50,000 to 300,000. I left the heavy Commercial field and Indianapolis Ind. And moved to Nashville, Tennessee. . We did a series of light commercial job’s, Retail all concrete, skin enclosure and Interior Build-Out. I did estimate and then run a few renovations and additions on some high end homes in Brentwood and Franklin Tennessee.
1984 to 1999 International Brotherhood of Carpenters Union.
Started as Journeyman Heavy Commercial carpenter, and worked my way up to Superintendent following is a list of projects. More details can be given upon request.
Construction Supervisor 7/01/97 to 10/14/99
Conseco Field house (new) Pacer Stadium.
Managed and built 3rd level concourse level and raker beams. Ran alumna system’s beam and deck systems. This was self perform Heavy form work.
General Foreman 6/1996 to 6 1997
Indy 500 Racetrack / New control towers.
Ran slip form wall systems for twin towers 146ft 2 in top of parapet. Managed all M.E.P, in my scope, then after topping out towers. Managed deck systems to connect towers and the cantilevered slabs for Pagoda effect. This was self perform heavy form work.
Project Superintendent 2/1995 to 6/1996
V.A. Hospital. 30 million
Added 3 story’s on already existing 12 story building cast in place. Managed all self perform concrete form work and place and finish and all subs + M.E.P. I managed Schedule and Budget on this project. I then managed all skin enclosure and Interior finishes. I then worked punch list for final C.O.
General Foreman 1991 thru 2/1995
Indianapolis International Airport. United Hub 1 thru 4 - 220 million
This was a major airport expansion, adding 4 new hangers to Indianapolis International Airport.
I managed and self performed all heavy form work and concrete placement and all other sub’s including, M.E.P within this scope.
General Foreman 1988 to 1990
Saint Francis Hospital South.
X-Ray and M.R.I. addition to the Oncology Dept.
This had 3 foot thick walls and a 5 foot cap on it with lead lining. Supervised all heavy form work and resteel placement and then concrete. This had the 3 ft door frames cast with the wall pours. Assisted with all M.E.P. sleeves and block-out’s.
Assistant Superintendent 1985-1988. Webb and Son’s
University of Tennessee Hospital – 40 Million
This was a 10 Story cast in Place structure. 4 Story Parking Garage and 6 story Medical offices. Managed and ran all self perform form work then took over Interior’s till completion and final C.O. Managed all sub’s in my scope, M.E.P. and elevators.
