I am very interested in joining your team as a Carpenter, Scaffold Builder, or any other openings you might find my background skills suitable for your organization.
After working as a residential carpenter for 20 years, the work started to slow down for me in 2007 and I left my longtime employer, R.D. Thiel, to start working as a commercial carpenter with McHugh Construction in Chicago. Unfortunately I was only able to stay with them for six months before the work slowed down again and I was left for unemployment. In June, 2008, I had the great opportunity to join the Aluma Systems team up in Alberta, Canada, working at an oil refinery as a scaffold builder for about four months but was laid off due to falling oil prices and all Americans were sent back to the U.S.A. I am now looking to join a team where my background skills can be utilized and I am open to work anywhere in the United States.
I am a dedicated, self-motivated person with attention to detail and I believe to be a perfect match for your organization because of my background skills. I would like the opportunity to talk to you to discuss any opportunities in detail as well as learning more about your company. Attached is my resume for your review.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I am looking forward hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Mark McCauley
