$11 million asbestos abatement and remodel for the federal government. Responsible for coordinating and conducting required bi-weekly construction meetings with client, architect and general contractor. Consulted with architect and engineers to assure compliance with contract specifications. Responsible for monitoring mechanical, electrical and plumbing installation to assure contract requirements are met. Monitored certified payroll for compliance. Coordinated move sequences to keep building tenants aware of job progress and floor completions.

Duties included coordination of inspection duties of other Department of Corrections Quality Assurance Inspectors. Worked closely with contractor’s Quality Assurance Inspectors and coordinated progress with Contractor and Architect/Engineer. Responsible for inspecting all mechanical and electrical phases of construction to ensure all contract requirements were carried out by the contractor. Submitted change requests to administration for review and approval. Prepared reports and documents to inform Department of Corrections of construction progress.
CERAMIC COOLING TOWER CO., Fort Worth, TX, 1986 to 1991
Field Superintendent - Supervised construction of cooling towers at various types of facilities throughout the United States including hospitals, airports, steel mills, automobile plants, and universities. Cooling towers ranged in size from 1200 cubic feet per minute to 3500 cubic feet per minute. Supervision of general labor forces at each job site was necessary for job completion.
