Chief Executive Officer
Developed the vision, mission, and strategic business plans successful in driving start-up of this multi-million dollar custom commercial/residential construction company. Directed all facets of its day-to-day operations, including P&L, business development, marketing, sales, and performance tracking/management. Procured initial seed capital; hired/trained staff; and established the infrastructure, processes, and procedures to guide business operations, instilling core management values/competencies that produced significant results in business growth, organizational development, and personnel retention/supervision.
Served as senior project manager, general contractor, and chief liaison to clients through all phases of construction/remodeling processes, completing improvement and design/build projects of up to $8.5 million for residential customers as well as commercial interests in the retail/restaurant, education, and healthcare industries. Directed contract negotiations with clients, architects, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors; managed acquisition of land and licensing/permitting issues; and established key performance metrics encompassing production, customer satisfaction, quality control, and workplace safety.
• Grew revenues from zero to $9.5 million within eight years, establishing company as a premier operation amidst a dense marketplace filled with high-end competitors.

Helped drive the start-up of this land Development Company and subsequent merger of Saguaro’s internal development organization, overseeing the transition of projects, personnel, and customers to the new entity. Led planning, organization, and execution of land acquisition/development projects focusing on the high-density residential, mixed-use residential, and resort/hospitality segments. Directed construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems; prepared project budgets and progress/cost tracking reports; developed quality control programs; and monitored compliance with building/safety codes and regulations.
• Turned initial investment of $400,000 into a 125% return on investment in less than two years.
• Took the company international within one year of launch and laid the foundation for explosive revenue/market growth; on-track to produce $150+ million by mid-2009.
