Unique aspects of the project required custom curtain wall systems, stringent environment/HVAC controls, polished concrete floors and cantilevered concrete sheer walls. $76.5 million, 260,000 SF, new Chicago District Detroit Branch operations center with cash handling/processing, vault and offices. The 47,500 SF currency portion of the facility provides processing, related support space and over 11,600 SF of underground vault storage. The facility incorporates the latest in blast proof and progressive collapse design methods. It also includes a state of the art security system, automated material handling system and redundant MEP systems with back-up chillers, generators, underground fuel tanks and UPS systems. $36 million, 100,000 SF, new MARTA Rail Maintenance and Operations Facility. Includes Neuero transit car lift equipment, Simmons wheel truing machine, material handling systems, truck service/repair equipment, traction motor service/repair equipment, brake service/repair equipment and rail car cleaning operations. Senior Project Manager responsible for all aspects of the project including schedule, procurement, cost control and problem resolution.

$80-million, pre-construction of 140,000 SF expansion of the Woodruff Arts Center, designed by architect Renzo Piano. Project included new gallery spaces, office and administration space, curator and restoration facilities, new retail space, an expanded parking garage, and a winter garden and plaza.

DuPont, Delisle, MS 1988 - 1990
$156 million expansion of existing titanium dioxide plant. Lead Electrical Engineer responsible for all facets of electrical design. Unique aspects involved maintaining existing line while installing new equipment, and designing environmental safeties to protect workers and civilians from catastrophic releases of chlorine and titanium tetrachloride gas that were used in the process.
