My construction career began as a carpenter in New York City. I am a multi-talented superintendent with advanced diversity and experience. Varieties of projects include but are not limited to civil and infrastructure, hotels, health care facilities, shopping centers, high rise and public use facilities. Walton construction co. July 2007 - December 31, 2008
* resigned my position with this company, agreement fulfilled.
1) Saved company over 1 million dollars by having status changed to Tax Exempt.
2) Saved over 400,000 by self performing non contracted items.
3) Designed shoring to stabilize sheet pile excavation.
4) Designed and coordinated mot with city of Baton Rouge
The project in my charge was the 19th judicial district court for the state of Louisiana in Baton Rouge value started at 102 million and increased to 117 million
The project consisted of demolition, Installation of sheet piles, relocation of existing utilities, excavation of 20 feet for a underground parking garage (1000 yards from the Mississippi river and below water level) limestone stabilization of sub grade, bentonite water proofing, drill shafts for stair tower shear walls, 4 foot thick mat foundation, cast in place perimeter walls, 3 stair towers to a height of 201 feet above grade, a complex post tension slab 4 feet above grade, structural steel with metal deck for 12 stories, precast panels and curtain wall system.

Hired as a superintendent, within 30 days was made General Superintendent / acting V.P.O... Through the acquisition of senior personnel after three years I was moved to the position of Project Manager, I controlled approximately $15 million of work on three projects.
1) Constructed projects when there was no supervision available.
2) Continued to schedule manpower for punch out and warranty work
3) Responsible for miscellaneous issues that arrived, interview and consult on hiring and removal of personnel.
4) Established a new employee manual.
5) Company safety director and responsible for the welfare of personnel
6) Coordinated field operations of twelve superintendents.
Projects completed are two Hampton Inns approx. value 17.5 million, a seven story condominium project with an approximate Value of 17+ million, a 40,000 sq. ft. specialty metal building for intrepid power boats, value approx. 1.1 million. A state of the arts clubhouse for American Land Lease, included Olympic pool, indoor basket ball court, 50 seat movie theatre, Broadway stage for shows, cooking and dining facilities, approx. value is 6,365,000+, a high scale town home project in Hyde Park, fl. consisting of 15 units with elevators in three multi- story buildings valued [at] 8,765,000. Responsibilities also included millions in miscellaneous work at Busch Gardens, Tampa. Overseeing about 4-6 million+ of miscellaneous office/ retail projects concurrent with other projects. Continue safety inspections of all projects. Also completed two Sweet Bay grocery stores with retail centers simultaneously, one in Naples and ft. Myers fl., these projects had an approx. value of 11.5 - 14 million depending on site work and roadway compliance. There was minimal travel required.

Responsibilities included but not limited to on site set up of project, establishing new vendor/supplier accounts, coordination of subcontractors and inspectors. Liaison for all governmental entities required for project construction, interact with owners, architects and engineers as required performed administrative functions such as subcontractor pay requests, r.f.is and daily reports. Projects included a 20,000 sq.ft. Addition and remodel to a Wal-Mart in Altamonte Springs value of 2,765,000, a new 160,000 sq. ft. Wal-Mart super center in Brooksville fl. With 20 acres of site improvement, state road work, traffic signals etc., with an approx. value of 18 million, a 240,000 sq.ft. Wal-Mart on 40 acres, value 24.1 million, demolition of a Winn – Dixie in the center of an existing retail center and the construction of a new 60,000 sq. ft. Albertsons grocery store- Without impeding business to retailers. Value approx. 6.6 million.

A complete interior office, patient lock-up facility for mentally ill and baker acted people. The conditions on this project required a special personality to cope with all aspects. Also built for the same client a 50 bed psychiatric lock-down facility valued at approximately 6,420,000.
Mangrove Bay Office Center
A 9.1 million 7 story 83,000 sq. ft. Office Building located in Clearwater, FL. This was a structural steel project using the Hambros deck system, curtain wall cladding and high-end interior finishes in all common areas, build out by tenants.
