Attend pre-job meeting(s)—review Action Item checklist; do job set-up, including material take-off. Attend GC’s meetings—PC is SJID’s main point of contact for GC on site. Coordinate SJID’s various trades on site. Evaluate material/equipment needs and coordinate (place) orders/deliveries with. Develop a stocking plan and execute it. Personally provide all project. Communicate changes and/or special conditions to Foremen, Lead Men, PM, and SJID FOM. Communicate project details (how-to-build-it). Develop and maintain a manpower plan—make manpower assessments with SJID FOM. Communicate production expectations to Foremen, Lead Men, crew. Monitor and make necessary corrections/adjustments. Assist in gathering tracking info, pass to PM, FOM. Meet job budgets or provide documentation to justify otherwise. Maintain a quality control plan per contract documents, SJID standards, and Client’s (GC) needs. Avoid rework and minimize punch list items. Generate a team atmosphere, and delegate authority accordingly.
