PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
SBS CONSTRUCTION – Boerne, Texas 2008 – Present
Plan, organize, and manage the overall construction development of “The Storage Center†sites in Louisiana and Texas. Responsibilities include design and blue print review, analysis of projects with architect, engineers and owner, preparation of construction documents, bidding, negotiations, sub contractor selection, material purchasing, scheduling with Microsoft Project, project budget, building code compliance, project development, quality control, and certification of occupancy. Supervise crews of up to 60 trades’ workers. Position was a Traveling Superintendent.

 “The Storage Center†Completed the Oak Villa addition in Baton Rouge a month ahead of schedule, with over 30 days worth of rain delays, and 10% under budget with commendations from city inspectors for readiness of project at inspection, quality of work, cleanliness, and no failed inspections. This was a $2 million, 50,000sf climate controlled storage facility built on a vacant lot that included installation of new electric and water service, stripping existing vegetation and removal of several existing 80’ tall trees, installation of select fill, monolithic pour of a 50,000sf turtle backed slab and 50,000sf of paving with proper drainage, extending existing 60â€drainage RCP, to allow for a land bridge to connect to the adjacent property, along with new site storm sewer. A 50,000sf 5x10 grid metal partition building with standing seem rolled roof with an interior of finished hallway system and overhead doors. Laid off and will be asked to come back if not currently employed.
MERCEDES HOMES – Austin, Texas 2006 – 2008

 Received National and Carolina/Texas Region “Rookie Builder of the Year†award for first year Mercedes employees with the best build time and customer survey scores out of 100+ candidates.
 Set build time records for the Austin Division/Texas Region, averaging 91 days on a 140 day build schedule, built two model homes simultaneously in 41 and 43 days.
 Built excellent rapport and trust with building officials that earned favor for inspections at certain times to facilitate production and help company meet or break monthly closing numbers.

CHELDAN HOMES– Ft. Worth, Texas 2005 – 2006

Plan, organize, and manage the overall construction development of Churches and commercial sites in North Texas. Responsible for design and blue print review, analysis of projects with architect, engineers and owner, preparation of construction documents, bidding, negotiations, sub contractor selection, material purchasing, scheduling, project budget, building code compliance, project development, quality control, and certification of occupancy. Supervised crews of up to 60 trades’ workers and built rapport with city inspectors and Fire Marshalls.

Ground up build on a site with the paving already in place where we installed select fill, 5,000sf slab for a metal building structure with a conventional metal stud/drywall finish out along with a baptistery.
 Our Savior Lutheran Church-Rockwall, TX(TDH)/ground up new construction/12,000sf/$1.4 M
Ground up build of a new sanctuary to be connected to the existing church building, this was a metal building bordering on structural steel structure with a 50’ peak vaulted ceiling with a suspended grid sheetrock ceiling, suspended metal stud mezzanine for the organ sound system, and typical metal stud framing. This building had a combination E.I.F.S. / brick exterior with a composite roof with fire retardant plywood roof deck on metal frame.
 Irving Fire Alarm Center-Irving, TX(Mart)/interior-finish/2,000sf/$70,000
Remodel project of an existing space at the Fire Marshall building to allow for an alarm call center with an elevated floor system, two office spaces, locker room, and the main call center area with metal stud framing and installation of a bigger back up diesel generator. All of this was done as not to interfere with the normal day to day operations while construction was in progress.
 Auto Building Restoration II-Fair Park-Dallas, TX(Mart)/remodel/restoration/150,000sf/$700,000
Water damage restoration on the exterior of the, Keim painted, E.F.I.S. parapet walls and soffit of the east side portico’s, replacement of the tapered insulation roofing systems, installation of new roof drains and unclogging the ones that were clogged, as well as lowering of the existing maintenance catwalk and replacing it’s old 2x wood construction with a metal grating and angle hand rail as well as the replacement of some damaged exterior doors and replacement of all exterior door hardware. This was all scheduled around the ongoing events held in the Auto Building, with several mobilizations and de-mobilizations to allow for such events.
 Hall of State Building-Fair Park-Dallas, TX(Mart)/helicopter HVAC lift/200,000sf/$75,000
This was a helicopter air lift of three A/C units in order to update the HVAC system to allow for offsite alarm monitored humidity and temperature control, in order to protect the historical artifacts inside the building.
 Metro Volkswagen Service Center-Irving, TX(Mart)/interior building demo-remodel/50,000sf/$3M
Demo-remodel of an old Western Auto building that consisted of demolition of the entire interior, retrofitting and updating of the existing fire sprinkler system and installing a flow detection vault, slab cutting for the installation of new plumbing with a large grease trap installation, metal stud framing with a large firewall separating the work bay from the office and parts area, installation of several in ground car lifts and one spotless carwash, demo of existing asphalt paving and replacing with 5†concrete paving
 Fellowship Church Office Bldg-Grapevine, TX(Mart)/interior building demo-remodel/50,000sf/$4M
Demo remodel to the old IBM building in front of this church that consisted of entire interior metal stud framing demolition, adding on to the existing metal deck & concrete mezzanine, installation of an elevator pit into the existing slab and the elevator system to go with it, installing new HVAC system, roof hatch, metal stud framing for new offices, stage and acoustic baffling for the Youth Group sound stage and community recreation and basketball court area.
 Village of Timarron-Southlake, TX(Mart)/ground up new construction/150,000sf/$2m
Excavation and installation of select fill for two 75,000sf shell buildings with monolithic slabs on exterior grade beams with a parapet wall and tapered insulation roofing system with 8†roof drains, that included over 100,000sf of paving and a combination of stained and Patterned Concrete flatwork surrounding the buildings.
