Project Experience
 2007/2008 Quality Control Manager MMC Inc. at the CCWRD (Clark County Water Reclamation District). The responsibilities included daily reporting and pre- inspections of all concrete, reinforcing steel, soils, pipe and above/underground utility installations. I communicated with and coordinated all subcontractor QC activities, confirming material submittals, responding to FNTCs, NCNs and generating RFIs as needed. Monthly responsibilities consisted of the monthly report, QC audit, monthly third party testing agency summary and a comprehensive construction activity photo log. Representing the management as the onsite safety coordinator I conducted weekly safety walks through out the project. I also managed T&M records for work change directives, submitting documentation for payment. The project involved the construction of buildings and significant infrastructure valued in excess of 35 million.
 2006/2007 Project Manager. P.M. for the major renovation and conversion of Ameri Suites to Hyatt Place Hotels, Fort Worth Texas and Phoenix Arizona. As a project manager my responsibilities included daily management and scheduling of 7 sub contractors and a crew of 15 key personnel. I was also responsible for project hours and daily reports, inventory (FF&E), scheduling inspections, interpreting plans and specification, the project schedule and maintaining quality control at the highest level.
 2005/2007- Operations Manager Ute Pass Concrete. I managed daily plant operations including scheduling concrete truck drivers, material orders and maintaining quality control of the product. I also successfully sold concrete to contractors, sub contractors and home owner’s through-out Teller and El Paso Counties.
 2004/2005- Project Inspector U.R.S. Corp. I worked as a project inspector representing the City of Wheat Ridge Co. for the renovation of Kipling Street from I-70 to 30th street.
 2001/2003- Area Superintendent Albuquerque Caisson. The position of Area Superintendent required me to drive throughout Colorado, New Mexico and South Dakota, monitoring and managing multiple crews of 10 to 15 personnel per site, engaged in caisson and pier drilling operations. I was also responsible for the logistical coordination of materials, heavy equipment and subcontractor contracts to include daily, weekly, monthly documentation of all site progress activities.
 1998/2001- Project Inspector D.M.J.M. As a project inspector I inspected the construction of multiple projects, including the Inter Quest Parkway overpass in Colorado Springs Co. I also participated as a project coordinator for the ice storm remediation for FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) in Texas and Arkansas. My responsibilities also included Inspection of sub-grade, reinforcing steel and concrete placement for the Runways and Terminals at (DIA) Denver International Airport.
 1993/1998- Field Services Manager Fox and Associates. I managed the day to day operations of 16 field technician and 4 laboratory technicians. Projects included the expansion of the run ways and infra structure at the Colorado Springs Airport and the construction of prisons for the Colorado Department of Corrections.
 1990/1993-Engineerng Technician C.T.L. Thompson. As a technician I performed a variety of laboratory and field testing, including soil nuclear density testing, concrete and asphalt testing.
 1984/1990- Branch Manager Kansas City Testing Laboratories. My responsibilities included out side sales, hiring of technicians, training, scheduling and management of the daily operation.
 1980/ 1984- U.S. Army Military Intelligence. I Graduated from the defense language institute in Monterey California and became a linguist, after completing studies in German, Russian and Czech. I speak and write fluent German.
Certifications- Labor and compliance/Payroll checking procedures(C-Dot), CPN (radiation safety), T.C.S. (CCA Traffic Control Supervisor Certification), C.A.P.A. (Colorado Asphalt and Paving Association), A.C.I. (American Concrete Institute), O.S.H.A.(40hr Hazardous Waste Operations) and site manager (C-DOT).
Education- Widefield High School 1972-1976, Pikes Peak Community College, University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. Biology/Chemistry 1976-1980) R.O.T.C scholarship 1978-1980. Computer proficiency and training Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Office. Construction Management software proficiency with Primavera Expedition.
