Construction Site Supervisor+
Plan, organize and manage overall commercial projects. Responsibilities included blueprint review and analysis of projects; preparation of material purchasing, scheduling, project budget, building code compliance, project development, quality control, and certification of occupancy. Supervise crews of 10 to 15 trades’ workers.
KEY PROJECTS AND SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• 10,000 square foot South Sound MRI facility in Aberdeen WA. Completed two weeks early and under budget. This job consisted of building and installation of MRI room working hand- in- hand with the Phillips Company.
• 5,000 square foot Venture Bank in Lakewood WA. Job was completed in 5 months on schedule and under budget.
• Assistant Supervisor on $ 9 million church, Gloria Dei Lutheran in Olympia WA.
• $2.3 million Data Center for the Puyallup School District which consisted of a 10,000 square foot building. Additionally, negotiated $2.5 million change order for a bus parking lot. Worked closely with the school district facilitating many changes during this construction. This was a time sensitive job that met all deadlines.
• 2,500 square foot MRI facility for Providence Centralia Hospital. $1 million project. This project was the second MRI facility I have built. I was the only person in the company that had experience specific to this project. I also worked hand-in- hand with Phillips Company for installation of the MRI. We negotiated this job and came in under our initial price. It also was completed three weeks early.

I am a journeyman carpenter that has been in the Union since 1992. I started out as an apprentice receiving my journeyman card in 1995. I have worked for several different contractors throughout the years. Before becoming a supervisor, I worked for Absher Construction for over six years. Prior to joining the Union, I was a lead man and foreman while framing houses for eight years. I went through the apprenticeship program to become more knowledgeable about concrete and the building trade itself.
