 I learned the necessary skills to become a pipe-fitter. I completed a 4 year program. I have attended all required training for working in many types of industrial environments’, This training has included Haz-Mat training, Emergency Response training, Self Contained Breathing Apparatus, Identification of hazards in the workplace, and many other OSHA required classes. I began as a pipe-fitter. My job was in the field of petroleum refining construction. After a short time I was promoted to my first supervisory position. I was soon promoted to General foreman. This job included human resource issues, such as interviewing applicants and placing them in positions as well as ongoing super-vision of other aspects of the construction process and completing daily reports.
In 2001, I participated in construction of HESS Oil Refinery in St. Croix, Virgin Islands, as a night shift Superintendent.
In 2002, I participated in the manufacturing of modules for the Honeywell Project
In Geismar, La. At the time it was one of the largest module projects in the U.S.
I was Pipe-Superintendent on the Honeywell Module Project, Geismar, La. This
Project was completed on time.
After the completion of this project I worked on Other Module projects at
The Liberty shop location. And on various projects locally.
The next project was with PREMCOR in Memphis, Tennessee, where I served as Co-Superintendent. Upon the completion of The Shu Unit, I returned to the Liberty Shop and continued the fabrication of several other Module projects.
In 2005-2006 I returned to Premcor in Memphis, Tn. Where I served as Co-Superintendent.
In 2007 I assumed the position of Module Assembly Shop Manager (Island Park location Beaumont, Texas). Completed all projects and shipped on time.
In Spring of 2008-2009 was promoted to Project Coordinator, was the liaison between Shop superintendents and our Clients. I handled several projects as the same time.
