Turned around project in 5 months and negotiated a successful completion ‘satisfactory rating’ with customer, resulting in further loss/cost avoidance to WBC of approximately $1 million.
 Co-managed for Martin Marietta Missile Systems, the development, construction, and activation of the information systems new high-tech facility/campus on the east side of Orlando, Florida. Completed this 3-year - 275,000 square foot industrial/commercial campus project valued at $114 million approximately 3 months ahead of schedule, and $11 million under budget.

 Launched PDQ contractors in January 2007 with a turnkey management subcontract for GSC Construction, Inc, to manage a $6 million (3 structures), federal contract for NAVFAC/USAF, at Shaw AFB, South Carolina. Completed the entire project 4 days ahead of schedule, and $200,000 below budget.

(General contractor specializing primarily in federal, state and municipal government construction contracting)
Sr. Project Manager – Primary duties focused on estimating, project budgets, overseeing/manage scheduling, proposal compilation, formatting and submission, and contract/subcontract negotiations. Successfully managed overall projects administration, safety and quality assurance from preconstruction through closeout.
 Spearheaded the incorporation of federal contract registration/qualification through the Central Contract Register and SBA Hubzone certification and qualification, thereby allowing Wild Building Contractors Inc. to bid on federal projects, and Federal SBA Hubzone set aside projects, resulting in approximately $22 million of new business for set aside construction contracts.
 Accomplished a major overhaul of the project office estimating and operating procedures designed to expedite and streamline multiple proposals and project management simultaneously with a cohesive staff of 8 members. Achieved by incorporating better administrative systems, cross-training and overlapping multi-tasking over 14 months. Improved the proposal win ratio to 33% on hard bids, and increased the business base by $55 million in 24 months.
A & S Construction & Remodeling, Inc., Indian Mound, Tennessee 1993 to 2002
(General Contractor for SBA Hubzone, specializing in renovation and new construction of military single, multiplex and apartment housing to include active duty personnel barracks and small commercial structures at Ft Campbell, Kentucky)
Owner/General Manager – Primary duties included full hands-on oversight of all office functions from administrative to accounting and billing. Additionally, managed new business development, project scoping, proposal compilation and formatting, schedule development, and HR project management.
 Conceived and developed the scope for total renovation of all single residential officer dwellings at Ft Campbell, which was to become the standard for Ft Campbell. Renovated approximately 56 dwellings valued at $1.7 million.
 Achieved federal government approval as a qualified fire and flood restoration contractor. Accomplished 7 major fire restorations on multiplex and apartment complexes at Ft. Campbell with a value of $1.29 million.
 Completed 5 hotel/motel, quadraplex and cabin renovations for Tennessee State Parks Department in 4 different state parks valued at $786,000.
 Launched own general contracting company, which grew to an annual volume of $2.2 million with no outside capitalization.
Martin Marietta Corporation, Missile Systems Division, Orlando, Florida 1983 to 1993
(Aerospace DOD contractor with 4,500 division employees, primarily specializing in the manufacture and sale of defense missile systems for the U.S. Department of Defense)
International Subcontract Manager for the Patriot Missile Program (1987–1993) – Primary duties included resourcing and developing new international subcontractors to manufacture high-tech components for the Patriot Missile System.
 Developed during a 3-year period several sources, at Presidential direction, that led to 7 multi-year subcontracts for critical components valued at $187 Million resulting in $37 million in net savings to the program. Subsequently, helped fulfill Martin Marietta’s federal international offset requirements and set the now active precedent for international procurement for all Martin Marietta’s arms programs.
 Selected to spearhead the new presidential directive to research, locate, qualify and develop new international supplier sources for the Patriot Missile System. Coordinated with the U.S. State Department and the Department of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms (ATF) to establish and implement new international procurement procedures for MMC.

 Co-Invented a new fastening product for the Patriot Missile Body sections, “Rivetless Nutplateâ€. Spearheaded the patent effort with MMC’s legal department and realized a measurable assembly labor savings of approximately $348,000 annually and an undefined rework avoidance savings of money and production schedule.
Construction Co-Manager – (1983-1987) – Primary Duties included co-managing the development, construction and activation of the new Martin Marietta Information Systems Division high-tech manufacturing facility in East Orlando, Florida, a 275,000 Square Foot campus valued at $114 million. Served as Co-Manager to oversee the general contracting of Blount International in all aspects of the construction from preconstruction through closeout.
 Completed 3-year project schedule 3 months ahead of schedule and $11 million under budget.
 Served as the Project Manager for Martin Marietta, new Information Systems Division facility activation and commencement of production 1½ months ahead of schedule with strict adherence to the DOD for system activation.
