Dear Sir or Madam:
With more than 35 years in the Construction Industry, my accomplishments as a carpenter led to becoming a Master Carpenter, General Foreman, working my way up to Project Superintendent. I will bring stable direction to the project, by promoting and keeping a clear line of communication with the field. I will also give you at all times an onsite quality control, by being in the field and inspecting work as it progresses. All non-compliant issues will be addressed within a 24 hr period, with the proper documentation being sent. I have a clear understanding of all project documentation; I am an expert at blue print reading and interpretation, which saves time in RFI’s and Quality Control. I was blessed with the skills and knowledge to build, I do not build just for a career but I build out of a passion to build the perfect building, and will never accept sub-standard workmanship, from earthen forms to high quality cabinetry; pride and craftsmanship must be given to both!!
My Project experience includes, but not limited to the following:
• Expert at Project Coordination and Scheduling of sub-contractors and long lead items.
• Inspect all Steel/Rebar/Anchor bolt install and lay-out prior to any concrete placement. Inspect for all concealed Electrical also framed openings, and embed placement for Tilt-Wall construction;
• Conduct weekly progress and safety meetings.
• Maintain a Strong working relationship with PM’s Owners, Architects, and Sub-Contractors.
• Assist with monthly updates to job schedules.
• Comprise a two week look-ahead schedule used as a jobsite work schedule.
• Maintain a clear line of communication from the field to the office.
• Assist Project Manager with job startups.
• Maintain actuate jobsite logs, and “As-built†documents.
• Always conduct myself in a professional and honorable manner.

1995-1999: Lamm & Company: Project Superintendent. Fast Track Construction of the $2 Million Dan Bellows Building. Daily Activity Scheduling and Coordination of all Design-Build Issues including Permitting, Subcontractor buy-out and expedite procurement of long lead items and installation activities.
I also ran another $2.5 million project on the same road at the same time, this was also a custom design build project of structural steel with light gage framing, wood truss design with stucco and eifs exterior, for a lead interior designer Ed Ewing (Ewing & Noble) and am proud to say I did not have a punch list on this or the other building for very demanding clients. I would add that I set up the entire original owner schedule and contract review of all sub-contractors with scope sheets.
1993-1995: Ruby Builders Inc: Successfully completed $10 Million Dollar Edgewater High School Addition and Renovations. This project was a complete 40,000 s.f. Administration building, also 25,000 s.f. Audio building with broadcasting and recording studios. The Audio building was constructed of structural steel, concrete columns and curved structural steel roof trusses. Administration building was constructed of CIP concrete and block, the exterior was a full size brick facing with custom inlays of school logos. We also did a complete audio system i.e. phone bank for entire school over to fiber.
$2 Million Dollar DPT Custom Office Facility. Responsibilities included permitting of all required documents through St. Johns Water and D.E.P. Project Activity Scheduling; attend weekly Owner and Architect Coordination meetings.
1984-1992 Owner T&D Custom Trim My Company was a full service carpentry company doing very complex and one of a kind 20 million dollar residential estates and Comm. Projects. I had on my payroll a total of 40 carpentry craftsman. One of our jobs was a complete courtroom with all book matched panels, custom panel trim, judge’s bench, jury rail that also included book matched panels and trim. I am proud to say that this job also did not have one item of mine on the punch list. My company besides being a recognized millwork and cabinet company; we also were one out of 4 framing contractors that could handle the requirements of framing projects anywhere from 8,000 to 20,000 s.f projects. I would point out that most of these framing jobs had the added requirement that most of the interior trim included repeat moldings, so the layout had to be exact in order for the repeat design to break on inside outside corners, to split the pattern.
As owner I myself handled all bidding, payroll, submittals and AIA draw requests. With this background it has proven that I am better able to assist the Project Manager with some of the start up duties as well; I can help with contracts, schedules, and processing of submittals and any other duties that might be asked of me.
Being a business owner I know how important it is that everyone works as a team, this is what I have always stressed to my past employee’s and continue to do daily on my managed projects. A strong belief of mine is; “I run the project the project does not run meâ€
