As project superintendent, I was responsible for the construction of the Bommarito Automotive Group - Honda Superstore and Volkswagen Automobile complex located at North Lindberg and I-270 in Hazelwood, MO. The project entailed removal of (5) existing 2 story office buildings along with all utilities on a 10 acre parcel. The new construction included a new Honda retail and service superstore and a new Volkswagen retail and service superstore. Both projects were built to strict compliance requirements set forth by the respective automobile manufacturers. In addition to the new building construction I was also responsible for new utilities including sewer, storm water drainage, water mains, phones, gas, electrical installations as well as new paving for the parking areas and repaving/ repairs to Brooks Dr. in Hazelwood. Additional duties included supervision of the installation on all owner supplied items which included all automobile lifts, alignment racks, oil storage and mechanics areas. This project was completed within the time frame and budget.
Total estimated costs of project exceeded $10 million.
