My Salary in 2004 at Shoffner Mechanical was $72,000 and at Southeast Building Solutions in 2007 was $62,400.
If I traveled out of town, I would expect increase in hourly pay plus expenses.
I will be interested in short term projects away from the Knoxville area.
I been in the Knoxville area 30 years and I’m not going to relocate.
On all my projects I put together the estimate, did the biding, set up the project, set time line, received bids, completed all of the buyout, manage the project, put together the O&M Manuals and completed all closeout paperwork.

At Southeast Building Solutions I have served as Project Manager/Superintendent installing plumbing & HVAC for the K-25 Portals & Site trailers. At Y-12 I have completed a HVAC unit change out in the Protected Area. Including a $400,000.00 Cooling Tower Replacement working Union & Non-Union people together.
I left the project with a great relationship with the US Army Corps of Engineers at Y-12. One of the Engineers said that when the next project comes out that he would like me to handle it.
Served as superintendent at Chris Craft Boats in Sarasota FL. installing ventilation systems.
Estimated, bid and managed a $1M Design & Build project at Canberra in Oak Ridge. That included a building, piping & ventilation.
I set up the welding program at SBS to perform work on Government Projects. Plus started a welding school at night to improve employees welding skills.
In 1988 to1998 served as a superintendent for Shoffner Mechanical spent (eight) 8 years as superintendent at SEG (Duratek) installing duct work & piping on various projects including two incinerators & the metal melt building.
In February of 1998 I started working as a Project Manager/ Estimator for Shoffner Mechanical overseeing all HVAC, mechanical & plumbing work at the McGee Tyson Airport Renovation. This was a $6,000,000 project, when I started on this project it was 4 months behind on the paperwork and in the middle of the project.
During the five years of working for Shoffner Mechanical as a Project Manager/Estimator. I have completed a number of memorable projects including The McGee Tyson airport renovation $6.4M, The Knoxville Convention Center $10M, Bush Brothers Product Development Center $4.5M & Bush Brothers New Production Center $7.2M plus Time & Material work at Great Lakes Chemical Plant in Newport TN & AE Staley Plant in Loudon TN,
Project Managed/Estimated in 2002 -- $13,525,452.00 of work and in 2003 -- $14,815,919.00 of work. This work includes HVAC, plumbing & mechanical piping.
While in the office at Shoffner I served as Quality Control handling the R & U Stamp work.
