Field House: Remodel and expansion of existing field house for phased conversion to student recreation center. At completion of programming, entitlement submittal, phasing studies, structural, geological and infrastructure assessments, and contractor selection and preliminary GMP bidding, this project was suspended at 50% design development phase due to funding shortages. This is to be a combined poured in place concrete, and concrete and steel structure with preliminary project value estimated at $35M.
Residence Halls: Remodel and expansion of ten (10) existing student residential dorm buildings, four (4) ancillary buildings, and new construction of eight (8) new dorm buildings with underground parking. This would have included renovation of 500 existing beds and new construction of an additional 450 beds. At completion of programming, entitlement submittal, phasing studies, structural, geological and infrastructure assessments, and 90% schematic design, this project was suspended due to funding shortages. These are to be wood framed structures with preliminary project value estimated at $85M.
Event Center: New construction of a 5,000 seat event center with underground parking. Project was suspended due to funding shortages at 50% schematic design phase after programming, entitlement submittal, geological and infrastructure assessments were completed. This is to be a concrete and long-span steel construction with preliminary project value estimated at $110M.
Track Parking Structure: New construction of a three level, 1,100 space underground parking structure, to serve student residents and event center attendees, with offices for campus maintenance and public safety departments. Roof-top competition track and field would replace existing recreational track and field currently at this location. At completion of programming, entitlement submittal, geological assessment and 50% schematic design, this project was suspended due to funding shortages. This is to be a poured in place concrete structure with preliminary project value estimated at $30M.
Central Parking Structure: New construction of a 450 space underground parking structure, at central campus location, with a new rooftop park to become a campus green space. At completion of programming, entitlement submittal, geological assessment and 50% schematic design, this project was suspended due to funding shortages. This is to be a poured in place concrete structure with preliminary project value estimated at $25M.
Soccer Field: New construction of a competition soccer field with ancillary facilities at the current location of an existing large debris basin. Prior to construction, this location would receive spoils from several project’s excavations. Preliminary project value not yet estimated, to be dependent upon import quantities.
