A position as an estimator, business or project management in which I would be either have the responsibility of managing projects, business administration duties including some accounting or finance functions. I plan to obtain a certified management accountant certification within the next 18 months on my own time. Although I had done project management in the construction industry, the method and skills are the same as in a non-construction industry.

Project Management
I was involved with inspecting the progress and oversight of construction projects for the Michigan Department of Transportation. I was involved with projects from the time they were bidded to the completion and close out of the project. Communicated work tasks were in a manner in which the project was kept as close to estimates and schedules, quality control and quality assurance was followed and necessary guidelines were followed dictated by the plans and specifications.
Accountancy
Data management such as recording data regarding inventory levels and costs involved. Reports generated in which accounts payables produced for the Department of Budget and Finance to release funds to the general contractors. Cash reports, cost scheduling and deposits as needed.
Quality Control and Quality Assurance
Quality verification and testing conducted according to the standards in the job specifications. Recorded data in which quality assurance bonuses or penalties accessed per lot of materials used according to the contract specifications.
