Job Description: Working for the last 4 years as a lineman in the maintenance crew at Dow Chemical Freeport site.
In the 17 years I worked for UEI, I worked in other maintenance crews at Dow and other area plants. I have also worked with the Lump Sum crews on big projects.
I have worked as a Foreman, being responsible for supervising the daily construction activities, and assisting the Field Superintendent in the successful completion of industrial construction projects. This included employee safety management, assigning daily work activities to employees and ensuring compliance with customer and company policies. Working as a Journeyman Electrician/Electrical Apprentice, I was responsible for the installation, testing and troubleshooting of industrial electrical systems which included: raceways – conduit and cable tray systems, wire and cable from 300V to 138KV, and low, medium, and high voltage equipment (i.e. panel boards, motor control centers, switchgear, programmable controllers and lighting systems.
