Building Engineer, Jones Lang LaSalle, Washington, DC (2000 – 2003): Mr. Vigrass served as lead engineer representing the owners of the Water Gate Office Building. He was involved in structural post tension concrete repair for base building structural slabs, large, multiple-floor tenant build-outs, construction of special communication rooms and the reinforcement of post-tension slabs for extra capacity weight. Mr. Vigrass was involved in the installation of new fire control panels and field wiring. He was responsible for the maintenance of all equipment and plumbing.
Building Engineer, The Madison Hotel, Washington, D.C. (1994 – 2000, and from 1987-1992): In the capacity of Building Engineer, Mr. Vigrass was involved with overseeing and representing the owner for office building tenant build-outs. He was responsible for the renovation of 150 guest rooms, a restaurant, the lobby and ballrooms, as well as the new installation of a sprinkler system and fire control panels.
Lead Engineer, Quadrangle Development, Washington, D.C. (1992 – 1994): Mr. Vigrass represented the owner for the full renovation of a building located at 2020 K Street, NW. While running the building maintenance department, he was also involved in the elevator restoration of 2120 K Street, NW.
Stone, Concrete, Brick Layer, Millstone Associates, Rockville, Maryland (1983 – 1987): During this time, Mr. Vigrass built custom homes, specializing in pouring and finishing concrete as well as custom stone and brick work.
