Sunoco, Inc (DCK Project Management) Present - 2004
Managed multiple construction projects on various Grass Roots Construction and Retrofit Projects for Sunoco in the 500,000 man-hour and $40 million to $200 million range. Responsible for feasibility, constructability, project control oversight, productivity reviews, contractor selection and project execution as a third party consultant. Implemented a company wide training program and procedures for Sunoco and Contract employees for field execution of Capital Projects. Modular Construction Constructability review for multiple Projects. Most projects FEL (or FEED process using IPA and Gatekeeper review and approval).
PROJECT MANAGER
Nooter Construction Company 2004 - 1995
Managed the execution efforts of various projects ranging from 80,000 man-hours to 475,000 man-hours. Responsible for input, review, and approval of the feasibility, constructability and logistics of various projects as well as provided oversight for productivity reviews. Approving and coordinating the planning, procurement and execution of major projects. Projects entailed working closely with local Union Building Trades Management as well as open Merit Shop labor, utilizing all disciplines of craft trades, using multiple planning systems. Several of these projects were in the refinery arena and part of a series of maintenance turnarounds between Nooter Construction and Sun Oil Strategic Alliance Group as well as Nooter Construction and Exxon/Mobil Oil, which consisted of major turnaround teams implemented to execute all major turnarounds using “Best Practice†for Sun Oil Company and Exxon/Mobil in the US and Caribbean.

Served as President of a Project Management Consulting Group for placement of Management personnel to various clienteles in the United States and the Caribbean primarily in the Petro Chemical and Power industries. Worked closely with clients as a consultant to develop scopes of work, contracts, best practice approach, logistics and personnel requirements.

BP Oil 1993 - 1985
Managed field efforts of multiple major projects with the Major Projects Group within the BP Oil Refineries System. Projects ranged from $40 million to $160 Million. Prior to the Major Projects Group directed activities of various Major Turnarounds within the BP / Standard Oil Refinery System in three refineries utilizing the “Best Practices†in the refinery industry.
