Thank you for your interest in me and my job search. For the last twelve years I have been either a Project Manager or a Superintendent, managing commercial projects of various sizes. I have also had many years of experience in the residential field. My formal education and work experiences in construction and related fields has made me a valuable employee. To summarize my attached resume:
1. My formal education is in Architectural Drafting and Estimating with an Associate Degree from Dunwoody Industrial Institute in Minneapolis, MN. After graduation, I worked as a draftsman in Architects offices for a number of years.
2. I spent a few years in sales and sold industrial products handling small and large territories working my way up to management.
3. I returned to the construction field and built large custom homes with a custom homebuilder. I then started my own construction company in Minnetonka, MN and also built custom homes for about eight years.
4. I moved to Ohio in 1996 and have been working on commercial projects varying in size and complexity. I am familiar with governmental regulations and have worked with local governments in the completion of projects. I also have 30 Hr. OSHA Const. Safety & Health Certificate. I have just finished the construction of a 4 million dollar remodel of an Auto Dealer Ship in Barberton, Ohio.
I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to talk with you and to answer any questions you may have.
Sincerely,
Brian Medcalf
