MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Estimated all work from Space Plans, managing cost while controlling design ensuring estimated cost did not increase; due diligence; assisted internal client (Opus real estate) negotiate leases; bid and bought out projects while interfacing with subcontractors and vendors; executed all contracts; completed the project on time using a team approach to guarantee success. Managed Tenant Improvement Coordinators, Associate Project Managers and Administrative staff as required. Coordinate all worked with Project Superintendents for successful projects. All my projects come in on or under budget and on schedule.
• Completed almost 900,000 SF of tenant improvements (reference attached partial project list).

 Sodexho at Cotton Center II (Desert Willow Conference Center, 40,490 SF, ±$2.8 M: Included a full conference center build-out conforming with IACC regulations and complete prep kitchen build-out.)

 CDW at Chandler Airport Center (CDW with a back-up generator, 46,872 SF, ±$3.1 M)
 Opus West Life Skills & Vocational Academy for Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC) (±$310,000 remodel of existing 50 year old building, raising ±$170,000 in donations for the project in labor and/or materials from subcontractors, vendors and the design community.)
• Completed a 52,000 SF, two story tilt build-to-suit for University of Phoenix, constructing their 30,000 SF tenant improvement at the same time. (West 101 Gateway ±$3.7 M for the shell building only, won the TOBY award for Office Building of the Year in 2007.)
• Completed a 22,821 SF one story masonry/EIFS/stone veneer shell retail center with several tenant build-outs. Concurrently managed a Site Development Agreement between Opus and Costco on the same site, meeting with their general contractor. Completed three pads for resale at the same time. (Cave Creek Marketplace $2.1 M plus the value of the Site Development Agreement.)
• Completed and set up the processes for the following:
o Interviewed and hired Interior Architects for Class ‘A’ Office buildings including Camelback Esplanade V, Gainey Center, Chandler Airport Center, North Scottsdale Corporate Center, Glendale Corporate Center, and others.
o Created Building Standards for both Class ‘A’ and Class ‘B’ office buildings, coordinating with Interior Architects and internal client Opus West (real estate.)
Architectural Assistant/Interior Designer, BRW Architects, 1989 - 1993
• Peoria Municipal Complex Phases 1 and 2; Architectural Assistant.
• Red Rock Visitor Center; Interior Designer.
• BRW Reception Redesign; Interior Designer.
• Coordinated all Architectural work between the Architects, Interior Designers, Engineers, the Clients and their Construction Managers during the construction of the Peoria Municipal complex. This included RFI’s and submittals and everything necessary to facilitate a smooth Architectural operation for these projects as needed.
• Main responsibilities included: Logging and tracking all paperwork required for accurate and expeditious completion of the projects; issuing RFI’s and submittals to the appropriate parties and made sure the Architects were appraised of the status; reviewing the finish submittals.

• Interior Designer for a start-up company in Phoenix (no longer in business.)
• Interior Designer and Owner of an interior design business in Massachusetts specializing in historic renovation.
