Sr. Construction Manager
I was responsible for managing/supervising the design, estimating, construction, occupancy, and closeout of many concurrent tenant improvement and large capital projects, requiring meetings with tenants, designers, engineers, governmental agencies and contractors. Other duties included negotiating, administering, and managing contracts and agreements; supervising design and construction staff for conformance to the estimate, expectations, budget, policies, procedures and company standards; reviewed and approved change orders; complete responsibility for entire project budget and reporting; conducted on site progress reviews to identify potential problems in advance and takes corrective action; conducted project meetings, as and where required, for update and issues resolution; coordinated input from the tenant, operations and engineering; reviewed and managed design and construction schedules, cost estimates, and project budget; prepared for review project update reports. I was ultimately responsible for the complete coordinating of projects through all phases including design, construction and occupancy, and directly responsible for the timely completion of each project within the contract and lease language.

Responsible for estimating, reviewing and approving change orders, corporate reporting and project profitability. Construction Management duties included coordination of with all project stakeholders during the design phase, project document review, scheduling, budgeting, bidding and acting as the owner’s representative during construction and was responsible for project profit/loss and corporate reporting for these projects. Additional responsibilities included long and short range planning and managing construction for a large public agency. On each project I was directly or partially responsible for the projects timely completion and within budget.
