PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
2005 – 2009 Estimator / Project Manager – Senn & Youngdahl, Inc.
• Estimated custom-designed homes from $500k to $2 million.
• Prepared options listing specific to each client home to assist the homeowner in selecting a desired price and contract value.
• Closed contract price with each client and composed contract documents to establish baseline for commencement of construction.
• Interacted with appraisers and loan officers to verify lending and draw scheduling.
• Assisted the client through the timely completion of an organized selections process.
• Scheduled and expedited subcontractors and workers through construction completion.
• Permitted and scheduled with city officials to complete inspections in a timely process.

• Supervised design, estimating and construction of projects from cutting doorways through asbestos-filled walls to complete floor remodels for the diabetes research facility at the U of M.
• Managed workshops that fabricated specialty parts for construction of facilities such as the sheet metal and millwork shops at the U of M.

• Completed “Southwest Gables,†an 180-unit apartment complex and club house in Omaha, NE.
• Scheduled and coordinated subcontractors to complete all phases of construction on three separate 60-unit buildings and a clubhouse.

• Managed construction of 26 Cub Foods projects in Minnesota, Colorado and Wisconsin including 9 new stores and 3 strip malls.
• Completed numerous remodeling and renovation projects on public buildings, churches, hospitals, and office buildings.
• Constructed several new buildings such as the Desch Office Building in Stillwater, MN.
• Negotiated and managed contracts with Cub Foods, Hazelden Foundation, Super Valu, UFE, U of M, City of St. Paul, Dakota and Washington Counties and Lind Shoe Company.
• Estimated and publicly bid numerous projects up to $20 million in today’s dollars.
• Customized a computer estimating system. (Software Consultants which later became the new version of Timberline)
