A multi-million dollar movie rental company with corporate offices out of Wilsonville, Oregon and with retail outlets nationwide.
Began with the company in 1991 when there were only 56 stores and participated in its growth to 2500 stores, then to 4700 stores (company recognized as a Fortune 500 company), and now with 3700 stores as the business responds to the industry changes and the economy.
Project Manager, Southeast Region (1994 – Present)
Manage ongoing new store growth, renovations, build-outs from ground-ups, and relocations of the Southeast Region that covered seven states until recently and now cover four states (Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee).
 Opened/relocated several projects per year ranging from $100K to $500K.
 Determine potential locations and property to develop. Initially, in earlier years, negotiated real estate prior to company closing real estate department.
 Negotiated terms of lease and leasehold improvements from first greeting to contractual closing. Successful in negotiating construction contracts, laying out and tracking projects, and controlling costs.
 Selected teams to make the leasehold improvements, to put in the inventory, and to launch the Grand Openings.
