As a Professional Member of your Organization I will utilize my knowledge of Construction and Business Management. I am a building professional with 20 years experience in construction management; versed in all areas from design through CO Date & Warranty. I hold Bachelors Degrees in both Business Administration and Construction Management.
Construction is my legacy. My grandfather built the second and third tallest buildings in Chicago, and my father was a General Contractor for 40 years. Both of them insisted I master every trade with old world craftsmanship. Under their guidance I learned Surveying, Grading, Framing, Concrete, Masonry, and all types of finishes. This gives me the ability to in still my knowledge of safety, quality, and efficiency in superintendents and subcontractors alike.
With my knowledge I am able to foresee errors in Architectural and Engineering plans. Through collaboration with pertinent Subcontractors and Lead Building inspectors I am able to make changes in the building plans, there by facilitating architectural addendum's and often creating standardized details.
Building strong relationships with my clients, peers and employees is very important to me since honesty and integrity are my core values. I’ve always worked closely with engineers, architects, and city building officials to ensure value engineering goes into every project, without ever sacriï¬cing quality. Throughout my career I have delivered successful projects that have saved budget dollars while adhering to the critical path.
