Objective I am seeking the opportunity to utilize my strong leadership and organizational skills along with years of experience in all types of construction.
Hardin Construction Company, LLC: Superintendent 5/1/06 - 3/20/08
In April of 2006, I was hired by Hardin’s Tampa Office to supervise a 14-story Westin Hotel/very high-end condo in the north end of Tampa Bay, FL. I set up the project offices, installed the piling, set the tower crane base and first tower section. At that time the project was shut down due to the Florida real estate collapse. At that point, I was asked to go to Raleigh, NC to build a 33 story mixed use tower. This project was very challenging, but I enjoyed every minute of it.
W.G. Yates and Sons Construction Company, Atlanta, GA:
Senior Project Engineer, Superintendent, General Superintendent and Project Manager
9/15/03 - 3/31/06
I started with Yates in September of 2003 on a shopping center in Hoover, Alabama as a superintendent on a temporally basis until the pending Daytona Beach work started. In February of 2004, I was sent to start a 20-story condo in Daytona. I was titled as a Superintendent, but worked as a Senior Project Engineer. My primary duties were to oversee the submittal process, maintain Q.C. on the project and coordinate my activities with the other superintendents. After the building was topped out and the exterior skin and interior finishes were well under way, I was asked to go to Panama City Beach as a Project Manager/General Superintendent to pullout a 25-story project that had fallen behind and was in trouble. Mission accomplished.
