Construction Manager
• During a period of just over two years was responsible for the management of $200M worth of projects.
• Worked with clients and design teams on the complex new construction of the Genetic Medicine Building, a $120M, 330,000 SF Lab building that includes 2 subterranean vivarium floors and a BSL-3 lab. Provided invaluable, accurate information to the client on contractor performance and scheduling. Role in Construction Management included responsibility for daily site observation reports, weekly architectural 314 reports, contractors CPM schedule review and analysis, as well as participation in weekly OAC meetings and monthly State construction meetings.
• Was responsible for the construction management on a $50M Healthcare Facility for the Department of Corrections at the North Carolina Correctional Institute for Women. Ran the monthly SCO meetings, reviewed and approved pay applications, created estimates, reviewed details/submittals, and coordinated the Design Team’s RFI responses. Performed onsite quality assurance reviews of work in place. Worked on the quality control reviews of the second phase contract documents.
• Provided field verification for as-built plans and documentation of existing conditions for multiple areas of the Life Safety Plans for 2.5M SF of buildings at UNC Hospitals.

• Served as Project Superintendent for a 96 unit, 4 building, $20M multi-family and church development. Focused on interior build-out, upgrades, and punch-out of units.
• Provided oversight for scheduling of trades and Quality Assurance/Quality Control reviews.

• Oversaw construction of a $1.3M, Parade of Homes Silver Award Winning project.
• Provided QA/QC, solicited bids from and managed subcontractors, provided punch-list preparation and warranty work for several other residences during construction, and resolved design and construction issues as they arose.
Mohawk Valley Contractors Guild, Utica, NY January 2003 – December 2005
Construction Coordinator
• Designed and prepared construction documents for a $300,000 commercial renovation/addition to an existing funeral home. Managed the construction of this project for the Owner.
• Coordinated and managed construction on the $1M roof upgrade and repair to the 229 bed Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, Assisted Living, Transitional Care and Dementia Care facility.
