Dear Sirs,
I am interested in applying for the position of Heavy Equipment Operator This position interests me because it will allow me to apply my experience and skills. Attached is my resume for your review and consideration. I also have completed training at Georgia’s School of Heavy Equipment.
During my ten years of employment with United Water, I gained hands-on heavy duty construction experience as well as developed my leadership abilities. I had many responsibilities at United Water and feel that the experience and knowledge that I now have will position me as an asset to any team. If given the opportunity, as part of your company, I would assure quality performance. Furthermore, I believe that one of my greatest strengths is the ability to learn quickly and work well with others.
My years in the military also helped me hone my interpersonal skills, therefore I not only know a lot about water systems and construction, but I also have a strong customer service focus. I know how to make customers feel confident in my abilities -- and the services I provide.
I am anxious to further explore this opportunity and hope to be considered for an interview, where I can further discuss my qualifications and capabilities.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Clinton T. Ike
