Electrical Engineer, General Motors, 2003 to 2008. Prepared project electrical scope of work for estimating for capital projects division, while managing a $4M budget. Directed architecture and engineering for electrical design. Conducted field reviews of general contractor / electrical subcontractor work product. Recycled electrical equipment, developed lists and integrated into owner supplied equipment orders.
Project Manager, ABB, 1994 to 2001. An industrial equipment manufacturer and paint finishing corporation. Managed staff of 30 with a $30M budget. Prepared cost estimates and proposals, estimating packages and evaluation of subcontractor costs for final proposal cost. Partnered with customers on equipment layout and specifications to provide budgetary costs. Directed demolition, engineering, construction, schedule, cost estimating, quality, site safety, compliance to building codes, supplier payment review and approval, collection of progress payments and building trade labor relations. Company contract was terminated due to downturn in market.
