SUMMARY
I have been in the construction field for over 30 years. I have saw that major projects were built of the highest quality, from development /concept to completion occupancy. I have been responsible and trained my teams for overall construction management in fact making a more effect team. Therefore making sure that a project was on time and budget using my techniques I have developed over the years. I have seen the fruits of the techniques I have establish having a well trained team along with my guidance out perform others who attempted to bring in projects in the time and budgets I have produced these results. I have been the onsite company representative and have been along with my team responsible for the successful completion of the projects. My key responsibilities include: Regulatory compliance, safety management, quality control, project & vendor coordination, cost accountability, schedule compliance, corporate client representative, corporate compliance and documentation, supervised all subcontractors, labors and vendors. I have taken complete charge of any project site I have been assigned. I’ve worked along with my Project Manager and other key personal to ensure the project run smoothly. The type of projects I have had control and built are High rise condo’s, tilt up concrete, post tension, stick frame, cast in place concrete, and CQC projects. My main concern is to keep with the critical path and budget of any project I undertake. I also know the importance of a well run OSHA meetings and HAZMAT sheets. I will not tolerate unsafe project site. You can see I have a lot of experience in construction of hotels, T.I. commercial, renovation, retail, multi-family, restaurants, Casinos, stores, and design / build construction experience. I pride myself on overcoming problem projects where others have given up I have saw they were done and have done so on several below projects. In short if you want someone to build your project and see that it I done right under budget and time I am your man.
Work History:
2007 to 2/ 2/2009 Laid off due to economy last position was or is with Aecon Buildings Inc. locate in Lynnwood, Washington. Aecon is well known for their tribal Casino work along the west coast along with other commercial award winning design build projects. I took charge of a new project engineer, superintendent, project manager and foreman and was able to train them into a team with driven results. Below are the projects I took charge of and using my years of experience and education along with being able to inspirer the drive in my team completed? Being a tribal project the projects took special consideration knowing the interworking. I myself being native American possess this knowledge and how to proceed I was also allowed to proceed more swiftly because of this. I would like to add I have taken charge and saw the construction of a lot of non Native American project but for this company it was a win win. Below are the projects I built for Aecon Buildings.
Project one: Emerald Queen Casino in Fife Washington my part of this project was to construct a 350’ x 150’ Casino addition to join the north side of the existing hotel and wrap at each end with a four story towers at each end which housed new restaurants, swimming pool and other hotel uses. Also to remodel hotel with new heating system from P tack units to roof mounted center HVAC units. Also remodel surveillance control area and 1st floor north side where the casino addition merged on to the hotel. This was completed December 2007 and CO was issued. (Photos can be provided up on request)
Project Two: was a 7 Cedars Longhouse store for the Jamestown Tribal in Sequim, Washington to add to their 7 Cedars Casino project. This store ended winning three awards. Listed below:
#1. For best overall design, #2.Time taken to build, #3. Washington Tribal contractors award .
I took control and started October 2007. When I started the project it was already two months behind schedule with my leadership and team guidance I was able to bring it on time and at a savings of four hundred thousand dollars which I had Aecon turn back to over to the Jamestown tribe. Problems I overcame were design steel was wrong angles and I onsite premeasured and redesign the steel brackets and all steel posts along with all beam angles and in turn gave to my engineer for approval while ordering new steel on a rush as not to loose any more time. I caught this error while on my own time going over prints and figuring out the angles and lengths. In the end the extra hard work I preformed brought a beautiful project to the Washington Coast. One that Aecon, myself and Jamestown Tribe are very proud of .(Photos can be provided upon request)
My third project with Aecon: I was assigned to the Lucky Eagle Casino: I took charge along with my team I trained and built a 150’x 380’tilt up casino addition with extensive interior design. Also a three story tilt up administration building 250’x300’ To save time in shipping and handling I insisted the tilt up panels be cast on site even though it was in December all work was completed safely and highest of quality control and rid get inspections. I took charge of also seeing that the old existing casino was remodel while still operating including the main Vault and surveillance room which were highest of security areas. I had my subs scheduled tight as I could only have a window of six hours to work and have the area cleaned and back open for business. This work was done in very early morning till 8pm. For business opening at 9am. I took charge of seeing built and completed a MBR plant to process all waste which I saw that it was big enough to handle expansion in the future. Two smaller build out’s an employee break room addition and security office projects were added on and I took charge to make sure they were completed in the same original schedule with out anymore delays. Finished project for full occupancy February 13th, 2009.

May 2005 to December 2006: Swinerton Builders North West located in Seattle Washington. My team and I totally under my control built a 14 story high rise and a 12 story mid rise twin tower retail/condo project. The project materials mainly consisting of Post tension concrete. This project site was located in downtown Seattle. My team which consisted of two under superintendents, two Project Managers, two project engineers and a secretary were under my direction and performed very well as such. The logistics of this site had been a tough one being in downtown Seattle lack of storage and lay down area made it where I had to schedule tight as the subs were ready for material which with a lot of work I was able to see that it was done. I was able to schedule around the problems of delivery and traffic control. I scheduled all work and material deliveries and my team have made sure I had copies and up to date on all the submittals of our sub contractors and buy outs. I worked with the City and Inspectors to make sure my project was in line with all codes if any problems arose I quickly seen they were resolved and corrected as not holding up the project. The Development Company we were building for was Intracorp Inc. out of Canada and demanded close working relationship. I made sure they were taken care by seeing we held nothing back plus meetings and emails daily to how the project was progressing. I told them of any problems that may have arose what I did to see they were addressed and taken care of one when Seattle Washington area had the concrete plants strike which held the west coast hostage. Not being able to correct this I had my subs do clean up and pre framing forms tying rebar columns so as they were well ahead of the project when we were able to get concrete after the strike. Safety has been a big priority of mine and I have seen it upheld to the letter and maintained. As will all my past projects I have built, with the critical path as my bible to build by and do everything with in my control to keep the project within or below budget and time.
