My name is Bobby Hill. After graduating high school in 1965 and a stint in the Marines in Vietnam I completed a four
year apprenticeship program with Carpenters Local 74 in Chattanooga, Tennessee and worked for 4 years on
the Sears Building in Chicago. I then worked for 14 1/2 years as a Carpenter Foreman
and Assistant Superintendent through the union on the Bellfont Nuclear Power Plant in Hollywood, Alabama. I was over
approximately 1500 Carpenters as well as the Concrete Finishers and Laborers.
In the mid 80's and through the 90's I was self employed. I had a remodeling crew with 4 Gutter trucks and remodeled
many apartments buildings as well as homes. With my 40 years of experience I feel I have lots of knowledge in the field
and enjoy the challenge of being a Superintendent and enjoy seeing a project go as planned and especially being completed
ahead of schedule. I work long hours and encourage the people I oversee to give their all and to be proud of their work.
I especially like to save money and look for cost effective ways to accomplish the goals.
I am familiar with Metal Stud Framing and Forming Concrete also.
I would welcome the chance to prove myself with your company. If you would like to discuss my qualifications further please give me a call at 256-609-7019.
